DEPARTURE CLEANING FEE: All rentals are required to pay a $40.00 plus tax departure-cleaning
fee. You are expected to carry the trash to the dumpster and to wash and put up the dishes before you leave. Thank you for your cooperation.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: A security deposit may be charged. If
the property is left undamaged and all keys, parking passes, and swim
tags are returned by leaving them on the condo kitchen table the security
deposit, if charged, will be refunded within 45 days after checkout. Swim tags are not used for Southwinds.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you must cancel your reservation and we are
able to rent your condo for the same time period to another renter,
your deposit of advanced rent less a service charge not to exceed $100
will be refunded. However, if we are unable to re-rent the property,
no money will be refunded.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: If there is a mandatory evacuation of the island
because of a storm or hurricane, we will refund the nights you were
unable to stay due to the island being closed to the public. We do not
refund for inclement weather. When the island is open again after a hurricane evacuation, you are expected to return and resume your vacation unless the condo is damaged beyond habitation.
PETS: Absolutely no pets. Violation of this rule shall result in immediate
eviction and forfeiture of rent. We love pets; perhaps you can board your pet with one of our local veterinarians.
OCCUPANCY: To insure compliance with the condo association rules, guests
must be 25 years old or older, unless accompanied by parents, or are
married. We do not rent to groups for proms, graduations, house parties,
etc. Misrepresentation will result in immediate eviction without refund.
6 (six) persons is the limit for 1 (one) condo. Two bedroom condos have
a queen bed in master, 2 (two) singles in second bedroom, and a sleeper
queen sofa in living room. Sleeper sofas are not recommended for adults.
Occupancy of more than 6 (six) is not permitted and violation of this
rule shall result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.
PARKING Please Read This: Parking is limited to 2 (two) cars per condo rented. Boats,
trailers, and RV campers are not allowed in condo parking lots. Make
arrangements to park a third vehicle elsewhere. Two (2) car passes are
provided per condo. You are requested to return the 2 car passes to
the condo kitchen table before you leave. Each car pass cost is $35
if lost. If not displayed on your car dash, the condo association can
have your car towed off the property.
CONDO SUPPLIES TO BRING: We do furnish linens for an extra fee of $50.00. You should reserve linens if you want them when you make reservations. Please furnish your own bed linens, beach/bath towels, soap, trash bags, dishwasher detergent,
hygiene products, etc. The condos are individually owned and reflect
the owner's taste and requirements, All condos are equipped with: pots,
pans, dishes, glassware, flatware, microwave, toaster, coffee maker,
color T.V., blankets, bedspreads, pillows and vacuum cleaner.
MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS: Every effort will be made to repair appliances,
TV, or air conditioning as soon as possible. Just like your home, our
homes can experience unanticipated breakdowns. Although repairs will
be made when possible, no refunds or transfers to another unit will
be made.
TELEPHONES: Telephones are not provided in each condo.
NO SMOKING Thank you for not smoking inside the condo. You may smoke
outside on the balcony. Smoking inside your condo may result in eviction and rent forfeited.
